Firestone Diamonds has delisted from the Botswana Stock Exchange following the completion of its share sale facility on March 28.

The AIM-quoted diamond development company had mothballed its BK11 mine in Botswana and was currently in the process of developing the main treatment plant at the Liqhobong mine in Lesotho to become “a plus”-one million carat per annum producer.

It said in a statement that 13 shareholders holding, in aggregate, 29,769 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the issued share capital of the company accepted the offer under the share sale facility.

The remaining 19 shareholders holding, in aggregate, 102,231 ordinary shares opted to retain their shareholding, which would be transferred to the company’s AIM share register on or before 11 April 2014.
