The four-day B2B event will be held in three halls of the Istanbul Fair Center (CNR Expo). A wide range of goods including gold and diamond jewellery, loose gemstones, jewellery mountings, timepieces and machinery will be featured at the trade fair, according to fair organiser UBM Rotaforte.
IJS-October is the ideal place for sourcing thousands of new products for the year-end and Christmas and New Year holiday seasons, the fair organiser said in a press release.
Turkey’s gold jewellery exports exceeded $2 billion in 2012. It is the second-biggest gold jewellery exporter in the world after Italy; the fifth-largest gold jewellery importer; and the third-biggest gold jewellery producer after Italy and India, it added.
Buyers may pre-register for IJS-October by logging on to www.istanbuljewelryshow.com to avoid the long queues at registration counters.
